Stewart Island has a variety of accommodation - see below.
Ulva Island does not have any visitor accommodation.
During peak periods (Christmas & New Year up until March and Easter), many of the popular places tend to be booked out. We highly recommend advance bookings.
The majority of accommodation is in Oban Village in Halfmoon Bay and within easy walking distance to all the facilities (shops, restaurants, cafes, post office, flight & ferry arrivals/departures).

As we live on an Island, most things cost a little bit more e.g. electricity, heating. Therefore, expect to pay more here for accommodation compared to the main islands of New Zealand.
